Ashclan camp

Ashclan's camp is held in the middle of the oak and maple tree forest. It is surrounded by large bramble bushes and has a large rock held on the side of camp, which is the high-rock, where the clan holds meetings. Most of the dens are inside thickets, bushes or woven in dens. The leader sleeps in a cave loacted underneath the high-rock.

Embersky blinked her eyes open to the light from the dawn that managed to get through the clouds that were pouring rain down on the clans. She heaved herself up and yawned, padding over to the herb storage and organizing a few that were thrown in carelessly last night after she ran back from gathering herbs once the rain started.

IC: Cinderstar padded out her den, shaking out her long fluffy fur. She looked over her Clan and smiled, starting to wash herself.

Fossilpaw leaped up onto a boulder to reach into the cracked bones where the medicine cats kept herbs. He glanced at Embersky, his mentor, and dipped his head, staggering off the slippery boulder with some cobwebs, placing them into the correct storage below all the bones and safely tucked in a crevice hidden behind the very boulder he was just on.

"Our stock is high, Embersky!" he chirped, leaping over the boulder once again to gather more recklessly organized cobwebs.

Cinderstar suddenly staggered, leaving her den completely. "Hi, Fossilpaw, Embersky." she greeted, wincing as she stepped on her still healing leg, then shaking herself out as the rain fell.

Fossilpaw turned, seeing his healing leader.

"Hello, Cinderstar. How is your leg healing up? I hope I did good!" he mewed, eyes shining.

Batpaw sulked out of the bush that he slept in with the other troublesome apprentices and saw a juicy vole about to be taken by Leopardgaze. He fought the urge to reach out his paw and bring it over, but instead quickly padded to the kill pile and took a starling from the pile instead.

"Oh, very good, and yes you did." Cinderstar purred, flicking her tail at Fossilpaw's head.

Quietly nibbling at his starling, Batpaw stared up into the air and saw an elegant flash of white, immediately recognizing his friend Cloudpaw. Not noticing a prod from Leopardgaze, he dearly hoped that he could find time today to send a telekinetic message to his friends so they can soon meet at Crater Lake.

Leopardgaze sighed, pushing Batpaw roughly.

"Hello? Earth to Batpaw!" she grunted in his ear, heaving herself up and tossing the remains of her vole in front of the apprentice.

Asteria shimmered into a sort of view above the camp, looking through the den and reading Batpaw's thoughts. There's the 2nd. she thought, leaving the apprentice's mind and darting off again, turning to dust.

Batpaw shuddered as a soft sting pierced his forehead, not knowing it was a StarClan cat. He opened his jaws wide in a yawn and padded over to Cinderstar.

"Can I go to Crater Lake and, uh, check our borders with the Clans?" he mewed, shuffling his paws awkwardly as he imagined Cinderstar coming with secretly and finding out what he always did at the borders.

Batpaw nodded and padded out of camp, watching his paws take the path to the edge of his territory and spill into Crater Lake. He let his wings emerge and he lifted off into the clear sky, swiftly dodging some tall oaks and pines as he reached the clouds and kept his eyes open for Crater Lake, simultaneously sending a telekinetic message for all his friends to come.

Embersky watched Batpaw leave camp and turned to Cinderstar, "What is that apprentice up to? He's always leaving camp to check the borders. " She meowed suspiciously to her leader.

Russetpaw padded out the apprentice's den sleepily after Batpaw had awoken him. "Ugh, h e's always up and early. "He whined, yawning.

Cinderstar nodded. "Maybe we should keep an eye on him." She hated the feeling of not being able to fully trust him, but shook her head. "It's probably nothing."
