A large, muscular brown tabby tom with ticked stripes. His fur is thick, though not fluffy. He has dull amber eyes and sharp canine teeth.

Cobaltstar is a very accepting cat and usually never judges another cat he comes across. He is very open-minded to ideas and is the type of cat you can rely on. He can also have a playful and quirky side. When it comes to Ibisflight, he views her as his angel and treats her with the highest of respect with great affection toward her. If asked about his past, he can panic and is often uncomfortable.

Cobaltstar was born in the midst of a thunderstorm, and his father had been swept away by a flood the moment Cobalt came into the world. His mother, Duststrike, after about 6 moons of caring for the little rogue kit, tossed him deep into the forest, and Cobalt was knocked unconscious for a few heartbeats, until a cat named Ibispaw found him in a glittering crystal cave(which was soon taken as GlideClan's territory) on a hunt and brought him back. The current leader, Stealthystar, was very uncertain about Cobalt because of his strong rogue scent and behavior, but fear tinged his every word and action and Steathlystar took him on as an apprentice, renaming him Cobaltpaw. He was sent into battle almost immediately and got a harsh, stinging scar on his shoulder from saving Ibispaw from a rogue that he did not know was his mother. Ibispaw instantly fell in love and soon after the two best friends became Ibisflight and Cobaltgaze, they became mates. Stealthystar admired Cobaltgaze's strong, brave, but adaptable personality and appointed him deputy after mentoring a weak little apprentice named Butterflypaw, who soon took on a medicine cat position after becoming a warrior. Cobaltgaze, from the panic and suspicion from the BreezeClanners he lived with, actually thought killing Stealthystar to take on after his mother, but witnessing his old apprentice Butterflyheart tumbling to her death as a horse from the farm crushed her fragile little body changed him. Cobaltgaze witnessed the aging Stealthystar lose her last life to greencough peacefully and soon travelled to the Moonpool to be granted his 9 lives. Cobaltstar still gains some uncertainty from his Clan, but they know well enough to respect the brave leader of BreezeClan.
